Position: PART TIME Marketing and Office Admin
Location: Raleigh, NC
Founded in 2002, Transite is a leader and one of the fastest growing companies in the logistics and transportation management software market. This experienced and part-time person will assist the marketing function by performing admin and marketing duties which include trade show logistics, designing PowerPoint and marketing materials, sales lead administration and more. Also, this person will also assist with client-facing and administrative office duties as needed.
The schedule for this position is highly flexible but will have projects with forecasted deadlines.
Requirements:

Position: Inside Sales Associate
Location: Raleigh, NC
This is an inside sales position with responsibility for initiating new customer contact and driving customer interest for the sales team within a variety of industries. This person should have knowledge of the sales process and have experience with the use of basic office software, including CRM systems. Transite will train this person within our industry and technology. The ideal candidate will have existing experience with inside or outside sales and be able to originate phone calls to prospective customers and provide information about products and services, as well as move potential prospects to the next stage of the sales process. Supporting the sales process, initiating a high volume of cold calls, using scripts, and working with Marketing to build and maintain prospect lists are part of the daily function.
Job Description:
- Person is expected to dial approximately 40 numbers per day and generate customer interest in our products and services
- Primary directive is to cold call prospects and engage them in a conversation that would identify their current requirements for our products and generate interest in them speaking with the Sales team who would move them through the sales process
- Consistently use the CRM system (SugarCRM) to access the call list, update with relevant prospect information, and assign follow up calls/tasks for the Sales team.
- Interfacing with Marketing to help develop and execute lead development efforts
- Base plus commission/bonus
Requirements:
- Must have inside sales/telemarketer experience in selling at the C-level and/or senior-level management
- Excellent customer-facing communications skills
- Must enjoy extensive phone use and cold calling
- Exceptional people skills
- Full time employment
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status
- Applicant must be currently based in Raleigh or the surrounding area
- Experience in the transportation or supply chain industry a plus
- Remote working is not available for this position
